Daily Dose Monographic Images 1867 | Diener & Diener - Premier Rappel: Le Volume Architektur & Lego Looking back through my post archive, I stumbled across this project from 1985 entitled: "Premier Rappel: Le Volume" I don't have any information about it, and can only imagine that it was a design competition to promote the architectural qualities of Lego at the time. I can hardly think of a more ingenious way to curve what should be a straight brick wall by playing with the tolerances and flexibility of the plastic material. The absolute simplicity and structural efficiency of the design make this project, although relatively unknown, a great lesson of coherence between material, structure and form.
